A car accident in western Moscow turned violent on Monday night, a police spokesman said Tuesday.
The spokesman said a native of the Caucasus ran down a teenager on Borovskoye Highway, and the teenager was hospitalized in a serious condition.
"Relatives of the teenager and townsmen of the man guilty of the car accident arrived at the scene and had a brawl," the spokesman said.
Some 40 people reportedly took part in the fight before it was stopped by police.
An investigation is underway.
