An assistant follows Milla Jovovich around the film set with an umbrella. The intense summer heat and scorching sun that have been tormenting Moscow for some days now will not interfere with the film’s grueling schedule.

Milla Jovovich was able to squeeze in only nine days for this starring role in her tight schedule.

“She flew in from Los Angeles, where she was filming another movie. As soon as we finish the scenes with her, Milla will leave again to shoot something else,” the producer Timur Bekmambetov told RIA Novosti. Photo: Milla Jovovich with her co-star Konstantin Khabensky.

Unlike Konstantin Khabensky, who starred with Angelina Jolie in Bekmambetov’s Wanted, it is Ivan Urgant’s first experience working with a Hollywood star.

However, Jovovich has been modest on the film set and does not make any special demands.

It may surprise some to find that Jovovich speaks almost accent-free Russian. But this is the first Russian-speaking character that she has played. Vykrutasy will be released in theaters in November.
