One militant and one police officer were killed in a counter-terrorist operation in Russia's North Caucasus republic of Dagestan, a police spokesman said on Saturday.
Two other police officers were injured, the spokesman said.
Late on Friday, one police officer was killed by unknown gunmen in the republic's Kazbek district.
Earlier that day, one policeman was killed and another injured in an attack the North Caucasus republic of Kabardino-Balkaria.
Still earlier, two police officers were killed by unidentified assailants in Ingushetia, another republic in Russia's North Caucasus region.
Sporadic terrorist attacks, shootings and militant clashes are common in Russia's volatile North Caucasus, where Russia has held two brutal wars against separatists in the republic of Chechnya.
