Temperatures in Moscow on Saturday exceeded 32 degrees Celsius (90 degrees Fahrenheit), breaking record temperatures for June 26, internet weather site Meteonovosti said.
"At 15:00...a new record high temperature of 32.4 degrees was taken for June 26. The previous highest temperature on record of 32.4 degrees was taken in 1917 and 1940," the report said.
Temperatures on Friday also exceeded previous records, reaching 32.8 degrees Celsius (91.4 degrees Fahrenheit).
Moscow's highest temperature on record for June is 34.7 degrees Celsius, recorded on June 21, 1990.
