The G8 leaders have criticized the actions of Iran and North Korea, calling on Iran to respect the rule of law and freedom of speech and condemning the alleged sinking by North Korea of the South Korean Cheonan warship, a source from one the delegations said.
The source said the criticisms are being included in the summit's final communique. The document also expresses concern about the humanitarian situation on the Gaza strip and is expected to be formally approved by the leaders later on Saturday.
