The sixth international exhibition of defense and protection equipment, Defense Expo – 2010, opened in Nizhny Tagil in the Sverdlovsk Region on July 14.

Over 250 companies and organizations presented more than 2,000 exhibits at this year’s exhibition.

Modern firefighting vehicles and equipment on display at the exhibition include oil pollution rescue boats, laboratories for gauging radiation and chemical pollution levels, a firefighting vehicle with a ladder rising up to 68 meters, a caterpillar tractor for fighting forest fires, and other vehicles.
