South Ossetian president Eduard Kokoity's plane made an emergency landing in Finnish capital of Helsinki due to technical problems, a source in Nicaraguan capital of Managua told RIA Novosti.
There has been yet no confirmation on the landing.
The presidents of Abkhazia and South Ossetia on Saturday start official visits to Nicaragua and Venezuela - two of the four countries that have recognized the former Georgian republics' independence.
