Russian Navy Commander Admiral Vladimir Vysotsky will pay an official visit to Turkey on July 20-23 to discuss cooperation between the navies of the two countries, a spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
"Russia and Turkey are expected to discuss directions of further cooperation on security issues on the Black Sea," the spokesman said.
Vysotsky plans to visit the Turkish Defense Ministry, General Headquarters and meet with high-ranking officers from the ministry and the Navy.
He is also expected to visit Turkey's Izmir and Askaz naval bases.
