Russia's Sukhoi Civil Aircraft has clinched deals on as many as 161 Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft since the Farnborough International Air Show kicked off near London on July 19, the company's spokeswoman said on Wednesday.
"In the last three days, the Superjet aircraft, which is put on open display at the air show, has been visited by representatives of 50 air companies, including Air France and Lufthansa," Olga Kayukova told RIA Novosti.
"In addition, two memorandums of intent have been signed with Thailand's Orient Thai Airlines and Gazpromavia," she said.
The Superjet 100 is a family of medium-haul passenger aircraft developed by Sukhoi in cooperation with U.S. and European aviation corporations, including Boeing, Snecma, Thales, Messier Dowty, Liebherr Aerospace and Honeywell.
The aircraft is capable of carrying 75-95 passengers up to 4,500 kilometers.
