Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's surrogate wife on the micro-blogging site Twitter claims she is jealous of her husbands meetings with Finnish leader Tarja Halonen.
The blog, which was created less than a week ago under the name Kremlins_wife, has over 200 followers.
Medvedev and Halonen met for talks in Finland on Tuesday. The two leaders finished off a brief meeting with a trip to a Finish sauna.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel also makes an appearance in the blog.
"I drive a 1999 Volkswagen Golf. I haven't been driving it for long but might give it to Ilya [son of the Russian first couple]. Or maybe I'll sell it to [German Chancellor Angela] Merkel," the first tweet, which appeared on June 19, read.
A surrogate blog for Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has also appeared on Twitter. Experts say the fake accounts are evidence of the president's growing popularity.
Twitter mania began in Russia after Medvedev opened a (real) Twitter account during a visit to the Twitter headquarters in California's Silicon Valley on June 23. He now has over 50,000 followers and many Russian officials are following suit and creating their own Twitter blogs.
The Russian president is registered under KremlinRussia for Russian-language tweets and KremlinRussia_e for English speakers.
KremlinRussia was the first Russian microblog to receive a "verified" status from Twitter Inc., which confirms that the account is owned by the Russian president.
Medvedev, who portrays himself as a young and technologically savvy leader, also has a blog on LiveJournal and an account on YouTube.
