The international forum Russia Is A Sport Power is a bridge between the 1980 Moscow Summer Olympic Games and the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, the president of the Russian Olympic Committee, Alexander Zhukov, said.
“Most importantly, the forum is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Moscow Summer Olympic Games; all the winners of the 1980 Summer Olympics are invited. It’s a kind of bridge between the Moscow Summer Olympics and the Sochi Winter Olympics”, Zhukov said.
“Many different competitions will be held as part of the forum, and about 300,000 people will participate in it,” Zhukov added.
The forum will be held in Moscow on July 29-August 1.
