10:38 GMT 04.08.2010 (Updated: 19:52 GMT 19.10.2022) President Dmitry Medvedev has instructed Emergencies Minister Sergei Shoigu to draft a program to renovate firefighting equipment across the country as he inspected a fire station built in Sochi for the Olympic Games. The station is equipped with the last word in technology, but, as the president said, “not all our stations are like that.”
The minister promised to draft a program that would complement the existing national fire safety program.
