U.S. President Barack Obama celebrated his 49th birthday with friends at Graham Elliot restaurant in Chicago. The security service did not allow the cake into the restaurant for the celebration.
“I was disappointed there wasn't a cake,” Obama joked. “They're probably eating it right now.”
Obama celebrated his birthday without his family because first lady Michelle Obama is currently in Spain with the youngest daughter, Sasha, while the eldest daughter, Malia, is at a summer camp.
