CTC Media holding company’s 2010 first half net profit fell by 14 percent year-on-year to $46.1 million to US GAAP, the company said on Thursday.
The company's second quarter 2010 net profit fell by 31 percent to $20.904 million, quarter on quarter, the company said.
First half 2010 consolidated operating revenue fell 16 percent to $253.699 million.
CTC consolidates three national free-to-air television networks in Russia - CTC, Domashny and DTV. The Russian channels, Channel 31 in Kazakhstan and TV companies in Uzbekistan and Moldova have a combined total potential audience of more than 180 million people.
In 2009, CTC Media started up an international version of its channel for North America.
The media holding company also owns two TV content production companies, Costafilm and Soho Media, in Russia.
