The flagship of the Black Sea fleet, the RFS Moskva guided-missile cruiser, called in at the port of Colombo in Sri Lanka for an official visit, a spokesman for the Defense Ministry said.
The RFS Moskva will stay at the port of Colombo until August 15. During the stay, the crew of the warship will visit the Viharamahadevi Park, which is the oldest and most colorful park in Sri Lanka, the Ganga Rama Buddhist Temple and the National Museum.
The RFS Moskva is currently on its way to its home port in Ukraine's Sevastopol. It set off from the port of Vladivostok in Russia's Far East on July 21.
The ship was taking part in Russia's Vostok 2010 military drills jointly with the flagship of the Northern Fleet, the RFS Pyotr Veliky nuclear-powered guided-missile cruiser, and the flagship of the Pacific Fleet, the RFS Varyag guided-missile cruiser.
