Bailiffs in the Far Eastern Kamchatka Peninsula have seized a yacht over its owner's 94-million ruble ($3-million) debt to a local bank, a spokesman for the local bailiff service said on Monday.
The vessel is to be auctioned soon to repay the debt. Its market value was not disclosed.
According to statistics held by a local bailiff service department, individuals in the region owed 679 million rubles ($22 million) to banks.
Almost 100 legal entities had a total debt of 342 million rubles (over $11 million).
