A woman fatally stabbed her father and then jumped to her death from their sixth-storey apartment in northeast Moscow after he refused to visit her grandfather’s grave, media reports said on Wednesday.
The Moskovsky Komsomolets paper said the 31-year-old woman, who also shared the flat with her younger brother, had gone out drinking after the row and returned home drunk.
When her 57-year-old father continued to maintain he would not pay his respects at the grave, she grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the chest, investigators say. She then threw herself off the balcony.
Her father died shortly after in hospital.
