Czech President Vaclav Klaus will visit the United States on September 21-27 and give a speech at the UN General Assembly in New York, his spokesman said on Friday.
Klaus will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg at the traditional meeting of top political figures at the UN headquarters, Radim Ochvat told the CTK news agency.
Klaus will also attend a banquet hosted by U.S. President Barack Obama.
The UN General Assembly is to debate the UN role in global governance.
Klaus has been critical of the strengthening of international organizations' powers at the expense of nation states.
