A cargo plane crashed on a busy highway near a residential district in Dubai on Friday, setting several cars on fire, Al Arabiya TV channel said.
According to preliminary reports, all crew members might have been killed.
A fire broke out in the plane when it attempted to land at the Dubai International Airport, causing its crash, Al Arabiya quoted a senior UAE official as saying.
The TV channel did not say how many crewmembers were aboard the plane, or what cargo it was carrying.
