A terrorist attack in Afghani city of Kunduz killed at least seven people and injured another 17, a governor of Kunduz province Muhammad Omer said on Saturday.
The accident occurred at 08:30 GMT when a suicide bomber on a motorbike blew up himself near to a local butcher's shop.
A total of four policemen and three civilians, including a child, died in the attack. Another 17 were injured.
Violence has surged in Afghanistan in recent months, with the Taliban group, which was toppled in a 2001 U.S.-led campaign, staging regular attacks on provincial government officials, police and civilians and planting roadside bombs to target Afghan, U.S. and NATO troops.
