The following week, on June 8, the president met with older children in the Levkovo summer camp in the Moscow Region.

On June 23, Medvedev became the first Russian owner of a fourth-generation Apple smartphone. It was a gift from Apple CEO Steve Jobs who met Medvedev during the president’s visit to Silicon Valley in California.

The next day, Dmitry Medvedev and U.S. President Barack Obama ate burgers in Ray's Hell Burger diner in Arlington, Virginia. The presidents shared an order of fries.

On June 26, Medvedev symbolically finished the picture of local artist for donation to the town of Hunstville. This event happened during Medvedev’s visit to Canada for the G8 summit.

On July 2, during the trip to Russia’s Jewish Autonomous Region, Medvedev visited the General Register Office. He was not just a witness at the marriage of three couples, but also gave them valuable gifts.

Afterwards he visited the heavy nuclear-powered cruiser Pyotr Veliky.

On August 9, during his working trip to the Republic of Mari El, the president visited the village Maly Shaplak.

On August 12, Medvedev visited the Krasny Desant (Red Paratrooper) summer camp in the Rostov Region.

Medvedev and the lead singer of the famous Irish group U2, Bono, talked about charitable programs for AIDS, musical tastes and Apple CEO Steve Jobs during their meeting in Sochi, on August 24.

During their conversation, it was revealed that both Medvedev and Bono like Led Zeppelin.

The president also tasted some famous Orenburg watermelons.

One of the ultimate destinations of Medvedev’s trip was the Orenburg milk factory where the president tasted the local kefir (similar to buttermilk).
