Gazprombank, one of Russia's five largest banks, has attracted a $900 million three-year syndicated loan at LIBOR +2.50%, the Gazprom-controlled bank reported Tuesday.
The funds will be used for the bank's general corporate needs, including the financing of trade contracts, the bank said.
As of January 1, 2010, Gazprombank's assets exceeded 2 trillion rubles ($65.3 bln). The bank's net profit in 2009, calculated to Russian Accounting Standards, dropped 57% year-on-year to 9 billion rubles ($294 mln).
