Court bailiffs seized dog clothes and accessories from a business that had failed to repay its debts, St. Petersburg's court bailiff service said on Thursday.
The pet shop owned about $13,000.
In order to clear up the debts, bailiffs seized dog's clothes including a black and white fur-coat, a pink fur-coat with bow, jeans, a quilted jacket and collars.
This is not the first case of unusual items being seized over the non-payment of debts in Russia.
The Southwestern Siberian Kemerovo region is the leader in unusual debt payments. The Kemerovo court bailiff service has been involved in the seizure of a pedigree cat, three five-month-old calves, a thoroughbred horse, and a reinforced concrete fence.
In July, court officials seized four beehives which belonged to a resident of the Yurga region (North Kuzbass) because of outstanding alimony payments of 50,000 rubles ($1,650).
