At least eleven people were killed and another thirty injured after a bus carrying Polish tourists crashed in Germany, the NTV channel reported on Sunday, referring to local police.
The accident occurred on the A10 highway near Berlin. The bus driver had allegedly lost control of the vehicle as the highway was wet. The bus crashed into a bridge pillar, went off the road and fell into a ditch.
Hundreds of policemen are working at the scene, seven helicopters are engaged in rescue works, the RBB radio station said.
The A10 highway is currently stopped, which has caused a huge traffic jam.
It is the worst traffic road incident in Germany for this year, local media said.
