One policeman was killed and another may have been injured in a militant attack on a police post in Russia's North Caucasus republic of Ingushetia, a spokesman for the local investigative committee said on Sunday.
Assailants attacked the police post near the settlement of Yandare in Ingushetia at 20.45 p.m. Moscow time.
"According to available information, a State Road Safety Inspectorate officer was killed in the attack... one more policeman may have been injured," the spokesman said.
