The VII World of Beauty Festival that took Russia's beauty-conscious public on a three-day tour through the latest trends in hairdressing and makeup came to an end on Saturday in Moscow.
Over 70 well-known cosmetics firms presented their goods and services at the trade fare, which was hosted by the Gostiny Dvor exhibition center in downtown Moscow.
Preeminent hairdressers and makeup artists demonstrated their sophisticated skills at almost every stand.
The artists revealed their multifarious styles: bright colors, creative dreadlocks and curls. Every visitor had the opportunity to find something to his or her liking, whether it was a princess-look hairstyle or Vivienne Westwood-inspired makeup.
Dozens of women and even a few men lined up for haircuts, coloring, facials and manicures from the fashionable stylists.
Along with hairstyling and makeovers, the festival goers were treated to music and cultural events.
Despite the wide range of freebies on offer, the firms managed to make large profits from sales of their products and, more importantly, have fun in doing so.
