Russia's former IBF mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin (19-0, 14 KOs) knocked out Nigerian heavyweight boxer Teke Oruh (14-2, 6 KOs) in the fifth round on Saturday.
Despite the Russian boxer's domination, the audience expected the fight, which took place in the Russian town of Chekhov near Moscow, to last ten rounds but the 32-year-old Nigerian was knocked out two seconds before the end of the fifth round.
Oruh said earlier Povetkin was an easy opponent for him
"I'm coming to your soul, man, to kill you. I'm a real man and on a completely different scale than this kid," Oruh said.
This is the 20th victory in the 30-year-old Russian's boxing career.
