Russia's largest oil producer Rosneft posted a 57.3 percent year-on-year increase in January-September net profit to $7.616 billion to US GAAP, Rosneft said on Tuesday.
Revenues in the first nine months of 2010 rose 41 percent to $45.663 billion, the company said in a statement.
The figures are slightly higher than analysts' expectations in a RIA Novosti poll, which said the company would increase its net profit by 49.9 percent to $7.240 billion and revenue by 40 percent to $45.210 billion.
