Hotel chain Hilton Worldwide will open three new hotels in Russia, the company announced on Tuesday during a Russia and CIS Hotel Investment Conference in Moscow.
New hotels will appear in Yaroslavl and Kazan and a second Hilton Worldwide hotel will be opened in Moscow. The move will allow Hilton Worldwide to shore up its positions on the Russian market, Patrick Fitzgibbon, Hilton Worldwide's senior vice-president of development for Europe and Africa said.
The hotel chain has been on the Russian market since 2008.
In July, it signed an agreement to open five new hotels in Russia by 2014.
Hilton Worldwide is one of the largest hotel chains in the world, with over 3500 hotels in 81 countries.
