Russia and Ukraine are considering the possibility of using the ruble in mutual financial settlements within the next two or three years, the head of Russia's second largest bank said on Wednesday.
"The ruble can become a reserve currency," Andrei Kostin of VTB bank said after the latest round of Russian-Ukrainian talks.
This could happen in "the next two or three years," he said.
