* Russia has agreed to create a working group with Ukraine to revise contracts on gas supplies, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said.

* Russia and Germany will coordinate their positions in the run-up to a series of top level meetings, including a NATO summit, a Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman said.

* Moscow called on Washington to investigate reports of human rights violations committed by U.S. servicemen during the military campaign in Iraq between 2004 and 2009.

RUSSIA

* The elimination of Moscow's notorious traffic jams is a "viability test" for the federal government and a key to making the capital a world financial hub, President Dmitry Medvedev said.

MILITARY NEWS

* Russia's state-run arms exporter Rosoboronexport said it was ready to discuss the delivery to Iran of arms that fall outside UN sanctions.

* Russian state arm company Rosoboronexport says it has no contracts for delivery of Yakhont anti-ship cruise missiles or the associated Bastion missile system, which Russia's defense minister said will be sold to Syria over U.S. and Israeli objections.

* Russia's arms exports are expected to hit an all-time high of over $10 billion in 2010, the head of Russia's state-run arms exporter Rosoboronexport said.
