Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has sent a telegram to his Turkish counterpart Tayyip Erdogan in relation to the Sunday's terrorist act in Istanbul, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said.
At least 32 people were injured after a suicide bomber detonated an explosive in Istanbul's main square on Sunday. No radical group in Turkey has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
"I am appalled by the savage terrorist act committed in the center of Istanbul. I ask you to convey sincere words of encouragement to all of the injured and affected. I hope, they will completely recover soon," Putin said in his telegram.
