Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov on November 2 will participate in a meeting of the Russian-Turkmen intergovernmental commission in Ashgabat, the governmental press service said.
"During the forthcoming meeting, the parties will discuss a wide range of trade and economic cooperation issues taking into account agreements reached on the highest level when Russian President Dmitry Medvedev visited Turkmenistan on October 21-22," a government spokesman said.
Cooperation in fuel, energy, military and technical spheres as well as transportation will be on the agenda of the meeting.
Zubkov will also meet with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov and hold talks with Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov.
