Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono expressed special interest in Russian-made submarines. He promised to instruct the Indian Navy top brass to thoroughly study the Russian submarine offer.
"Russia's [arms exporter] Rosoboronexport signed a contract on the delivery of ammunition for Su-family fighters to the Indonesian armed forces," said Mikhail Pukhov, deputy director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation.
