Archaeologists have found an ancient Roman settlement, including many artifacts, burials and the remains of the Roman Road, during excavation at Syon Park in west London.
Experts discovered around 11,500 fragments of pottery, 100 coins and jewellery, including a Bronze Age golden bracelet and parts of a lava quern stone at the site.
They believe the settlement remained untouched for around 2,000 years and was unearthed only during construction to open a hotel in the ancient estate Syon House that belonged to the Duke of Northumberland.
