The last two cars of a commuter train bound from the city of Tver to Moscow got derailed in the Russian capital's north early on Sunday, no one was killed or injured, railway officials said.
The derailed cars, which did not overturn, contained no passengers.
The accident caused delays for at least three trains bound from St. Petersburg to the cities of Kazan, Vladikavkaz and Nizhny Novgorod.
An investigation is underway.
