Russia's grain market may need additional government support measures , First Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov said on Monday.
"Despite a relatively acceptable price situation on the market, some farms are unwilling to sell grain until spring in the expectation that prices will go up," Zubkov told an agricultural meeting headed by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
"Maybe we could additionally employ some mechanisms to keep the grain market stable," Zubkov said.
Zubkov added that grain supplies were distributed unevenly across the country.
