Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will on Monday travel to the city of Severodvinsk in northeast European Russia to hold a meeting on the state armament program for 2011-2020.
The program will become a basis for the new profile of the Russian armed forces and their transition to modern armaments and military hardware, the government said.
Putin will also visit the Sevmash shipbuilding company, the country's only nuclear submarine manufacturer.
