Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport said on Wednesday it was working as normal after days of chaos caused by an ice storm.
Hundreds of flights were canceled and delayed as severe freezing rain caused serious power outages on Sunday.
In other developments, the head of Russia's Aeroflot airliner, Viktor Savelyev, pledged to compensate passengers whose flights were delayed or cancelled. The company cancelled 202 flights, he said.
Aeroflot's press service added that all passengers who have tickets for flights scheduled for December 25, 26 and 27 would receive compensation.
Earlier in the day, the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service announced it would probe retailers operating in Sheremetyevo over inflated prices for foods and drink. The anti-monopoly body cited several cases when prices for sandwiches climbed to some $16.5.
