An engine failure forced the crew of a Boeing-767-300 airliner to make emergency landing in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, representative for the local transport prosecutor's office Sergei Boiko said Saturday.
The airliner took off from the Moscow airport of Domodedovo and was destined for the Egyptian resort of Hurgada.
The airliner belongs to the Russian air carrier Transaero, he said, adding that none of the 214 passengers on board the jet was injured.
