At least 22 people were killed after a bus plunged into a gorge in northern India, a police spokesperson said on Thursday.
Nineteen others were injured when the bus carrying 42 passengers veered off a mountain road and fell into a 15-meter-deep gorge in the state of Uttarakhand late on Wednesday.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
