The Russian and Iranian leaders have agreed to continue discussions on Tehran's controversial nuclear program "in different formats," the Kremlin said on Monday.
The statement follows a telephone conversation between Dmitry Medvedev and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad earlier on Monday.
The West suspects Iran of developing nuclear weapons, but Tehran says its program is entirely peaceful.
