German rock band Guano Apes will present its new album entitled Bel Air in three Russian cities in April, the band's vocalist, Sandra Nasic, told RIA Novosti.
The band will start its European promotion tour in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia, on April 9 and then fly to Russia to give a concert in St. Petersburg on April 21.
On April 22, Guano Apes will try to impress the Moscow public and on April 24, another concert will take place in the Urals city of Yekaterinburg.
"We will release the album I think at the beginning of April,"Nasic said.
"Russian fans we'll be one of the first to hear the new songs. People in Russia have so much energy inside them... For us it's always great to be there [in Russia]," she said.
The band previously visited Russia in 2001, 2002 and 2010.
"We're excited about our return to Moscow and St. Petersburg and the first visit to Yekaterinburg," the singer said.
Guano Apes released its first album, Proud Like a God, in 1997. It has become the best selling English-language debut album by a German group. The second album, Don't Give Me Names, was released in 2000 and was also successful.
In 2003, the third album was released, and two years later, in 2005, the band announced it was splitting up.
