The world's highest restaurant At.mosphere opened on Sunday in the world's tallest building in Dubai, Burj Khalifa, local media said.
The restaurant is located 442 meters (1,350 ft) high on level 122 of Burj Khalifa, which is more than 800 meters above ground. The observation deck, 'At the Top', is on level 124.
At.mosphere locates up to 210 guests, who use an express elevator to reach the height. The trip takes just 57 seconds.
The menu is modern European grilled food. Visitors are advised to reserve tables beforehand.
"We would like to create a special experience at that restaurant that people keep on coming back," said Marc Dardenne, chief executive officer of the managing company, Emaar Hospitality Group.
At.mosphere surpasses the height of Toronto's CN Tower bar, which held the previous record of the world's highest restaurant at 346 meters.
