At least four people were killed and another six injured when a blast ripped through a cafe in Russia's volatile southern republic of Dagestan, a spokesman for a local hospital said.
A car bomb exploded near a cafe in the city of Khasavyurt late on Wednesday.
"Our hospital received three dead and seven injured. One of the injured later died during surgery," the official said.
Local police confirmed the report and said information on the dead and injured "was being updated."
It is the second car bomb explosion in Khasavyurt in the past two weeks. On January 14, a similar attack on another cafe in the city killed four and injured five.
