Police have found no bombs at large shopping malls in southern Moscow, which were evacuated on Saturday amid terror threat, a police spokesman has said.
Visitors were evacuated from a major shopping center Mega-Belaya Dacha, in southeast Moscow, and Mega-Tyopli Stan shopping complex, in southwest Moscow after police found bomb threat messages.
Shortly after, another shopping mall OBI in southern Moscow was also evacuated after police received an anonymous phone call warning of a bomb in the building, but no bomb was found.
The evacuation caused large traffic jams on the roads.
"After the bomb threat messages were discovered in the shopping centers, the buildings were checked but no explosive devises have been found," the spokesman said.
Another bomb threat message was found in the children's playground of a Vegas shopping center, in southern Moscow, on Saturday. Visitors have been evacuated and checks are underway, police said.
Police in Moscow were put on high alert following the deadly terrorist blast at the capital's Domodedovo airport on January 24 which killed 35 people and injured dozens.
