Russian President Dmitry Medvedev told Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Thursday he hoped the current political crisis would be resolved peacefully and swiftly, the Kremlin said.
Medvedev thanked Mubarak in a telephone conversation for measures taken to ensure the security of Russian nationals in Egypt.
