Unknown attackers in the Russian Urals Sverdlovsk region have killed three people and set fire to the apartment to disguise the murder, local investigators said on Sunday.
The bodies of two women and one man, aged between 60 and 70, were found with stab wounds on Sunday morning. The investigators said arson was the cause of the fire.
The apartment's owner and her friend have been identified among the victims. An investigation is ongoing. The killers face up to 25 years in jail.
