Two Russian cosmonauts on board the International Space Station are preparing to conduct a spacewalk on February 16, mission control said on Monday.
Dmitry Kondratyev and Oleg Skripochka, both 41, conducted their first spacewalks on January 21.
They installed high-speed data transmission equipment on the Zvezda service module, disassembling an impulse plasma injector and installing a camera on the Rassvet module.
The service life of the station, which has been in orbit for 10 years, ends in 2015 but participants of the project - Canada, the European Union, Japan, Russia and the United States - are currently discussing ways to extend its operation until 2020.
