The Russian national football team will take on the Iranian side in an away friendly match on Wednesday as part of the team's preparations for the 2012 Euro Cup qualifiers.
The match, the first the Russian side this year, will be held at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, at 19:00 Moscow time (17:00 GMT).
Dutch trainer of the Russian team Dick Advokaat said he does not intend to make any experiments with the team in the match against Iran.
"For now, it is important for the players to feel the game and to recall all playing combinations. That is why I am not going to make any experiments with tactics or the lineup," Advocaat said.
Russia's next match this year will be a 2012 Euro qualifier against Armenia on March 26 in Yerevan.
Russia currently tops Euro 2012 qualifying Group B with nine points after four games. It is followed by Slovakia, Ireland and Armenia with seven points each.
